Dragons are curious creatures. Much like today's lizards they possessed scales although unlike common mythology they did not bear wings. It is in fact a large misconception that they could ever fly. They could however expel a type of fuel from beneath their tongues to "breath fire". how they stored the fuel or lit it was never discovered, but it is known that the fire they produced was a bright blue, similar to propane, meaning the fuel they used was likely refined in some way.
